“Whispering Spirit Holiday Cottages and Miniature Pony Stud” is situated in the lush green hills of the Huon Valley at Franklin, just south of Hobart. Set off the Main Road in a peaceful and tranquil location among trees, we have gardens and ponds across 70 acres.
It offers 4 star self contained accommodation and a Miniature Pony Stud. The cottages are a refreshing retreat for rebuilding the spirit, with mountain and valley views, and secluded gardens. Relax away from the busy world in a peaceful, rural environment.
In spring and summer watch the foals play in the paddocks and meet the ponies and experience the farm life, like feeding the chooks and collecting eggs. Pick some berries and other fruits in season, see the milking cows, and go for walks over the farm, or just relax and let the world go by. Enjoy the wildlife at night and keep a lookout for the shy platypus.
