Landcare Franklin
Franklin Landcare is a small group of dedicated volunteers, committed to improving, maintaining, revegetating and enjoying a short length of boardwalk and track along the edge of the Huon River in Franklin, just north of the Wooden Boat Centre.
We meet once a week on Thursdays at 10am and finish with morning tea at one of the picnic tables along the track, at about 11.30.
We also have a stall at the Palais Market where we raise money by selling local native plants propagated by us, our spare produce and other items made by our members.
We would be very pleased to welcome new volunteers to come and help keep this area a great habitat for wild life and visitors!
